Baback Sadat-Moussavi has been an avid videogame player ever since he was introduced to his first console, the Atari 2600. However, it didn’t become clear to him that he wanted to be a part of the videogame industry as a developer until he was exposed to Street Fighter II and fell in love with the series’ artwork.
After attaining his BFA in Digital Media from the University of Georgia, Baback spent a year working with a Half-Life 2 modification team to help refine his 3D modeling and texturing skills. As luck would have it, these efforts wound up paying off, helping him land his first job in the industry at Kush Games making AAA sports titles for popular, cutting-edge home game consoles.
Since then, he has been credited in 19 released titles spanning multiple platforms including Xbox360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, PC, iOS/Mobile, Nintendo DS, Xbox, Playstation 2, Gamecube, and Xbox Live Indie Games.
Baback currently resides in Los Angeles, CA where he continues to put forth his best efforts toward the creation of high quality art as a Senior User Interface Artist. In his spare time he enjoys refining his digital art skills, drawing, playing as many videogames as his schedule allows, practical effects creation, softball, and martial arts.
